The AYFC offers two programs at different times of the year to be able to get as many of our youth to participate in some form of football as much as possible. We feel football is the one true team sport and greatest game in the world and we want all of our youth to be able to experience it in some way.

AVON JR. ORIOLES

The Jr. Orioles are part of the Indiana Elementary Football Assoc. which has been recognized as the pinnacle of youth football competition. Some of the teams we compete against include: Ben Davis, Center Grove, Carmel, Hamilton SE, Warren Central, Pike, Zionsville, North Central, Noblesville, Columbus, Brownsburg and several more.

This is a highly competitive tackle football league.

The team is made up of 33 5th and 6th graders (occassionally a 4th grader). We have an "A" schedule and a "B" schedule so all players have their own games.

Tryouts are on May 19, 20 & 21 at Avon High school at 4:00, 1:00 & 6:00. You will need to sign up for AJAA football to get equipment for tryouts. They are full equipment tryouts.

This is our spring football 6 on 6 passing league. It is for any student in grades 3 - 8.

This is a non-contact, fun and instructional league.

All players are given the chance to run, pass and catch the football as well as play multiple positions on defense.

Players learn passing offenses and defenses.

The 2012 league begins April 11 & 12 and runs for 6 weeks.
